SARS ISSUES NEW GUIDANCE ON VAT DIESEL REBATES

The South African Revenue Authority issues new guidance on the VAT diesel rebated based on a new judgement made by the High Court. This judgment created a new precedent whereby farmers can only become eligible for the diesel rebate is diesel is obtained from their own stores and not when obtained from a depot outside of the farm.
