This course assists professionals to become well acquainted with the landscape and practicalities of the dynamic world of international tax risk management. It empowers businesses to follow a structured and proactive approach in conquering the ever-changing cross-border tax risk environment by revealing a unique five-sided perspective. The course will teach dynamic tax managers how to respond to international tax risks instead of reacting to unexpected risks. It will assist in transforming great tax managers into informed, skilled and armed forces to be reckoned with, being able to effectively guard and defend a legally grounded tax position.  

This course is for non-accountants that need to understand accounting as a business language, in order to  make professional judgements and business decisions based on accounting information. This course will also assist one in managing personal finances. Level 1 of Accounting Acumen covers foundational accounting principles and the accounting process. The course serves as preparation for Accounting Acumen Level 2 and 3, which covers the reading and analysis of financial statements. 

The ability to read and analyse financial statements is a very valuable skill; since financial figures tell the story of a business' financial position, financial performance, risk profile, growth potential and cash flow management.
